Linklaters Appoints Chair of Asia

Linklaters recently announced the appointment of William Liu as its Chair of Asia.
William Liu focuses his practice on capital markets. He has extensive experience in public debt, equity and equity-related transactions involving Chinese and overseas issuers in the Greater China region, as well as in private and proprietary illiquid investments and PIPE transactions.
William joined Linklaters in 1998 and was promoted to Partner in 2008. Prior to this appointment, he served as Linklaters’ China Managing Partner and Head of Asia Capital Markets. In his new role, he will continue to hold the position of Partner in the firm’s Capital Markets practice and work closely with the management team to further enhance Linklaters’ overall service capabilities across Asia.
