Recently, Kirkland & Ellis announced that Richard Layther has joined its Hong Kong office as a partner in the Restructuring practice.
Richard Layther focuses on complex cross-border restructurings, insolvencies and special situations transactions across the Asian and European markets. He has advised a wide range of clients, including debtors, bondholders, lenders, sponsors, insolvency practitioners and investors, on matters across numerous industries and jurisdictions.
Prior to joining Kirkland & Ellis, Richard Layther worked at Freshfields and Sidley Austin.
